CCRF's new Therapeutic Services Program offers free counseling sessions and support groups to the children and families dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
The team at CCRF recognizes the importance of the mental health of the entire family at the time of cancer diagnosis and during treatment. Another piece of the therapeutic program will be Friendship Baskets, which will provide baskets of items such as, but not limited to, local donations of products, services, meals, games, lists of resources and more to families who have just received the tragic news
of a childhood cancer diagnosis, in efforts to assist with raising spirits, and offering the friendship of CCRF’s team to the families.
Support groups are conducted by Tara Bryan on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 10am and 7pm at
Hanover, PA 17331
If you are interested in joining the group, contact CCRF at firstname.lastname@example.org or 717-688-7940. Sessions are free but require an RSVP by the Friday before the group meets.
